with an appreciation for unique and fun projects.
Peggy has completed signage projects for several different communities like the Quonochontaug Historical Society, the Quonochontaug Grange, the Seaside Gardeners, the Sandbox, and Old Salt Studio. The signage Peggy creates features 3D elements, textures, and paintings. While living in New Canaan, Connecticut, many signs were made for the New Canaan Nature Center classrooms and grounds.

The Sandbox

The sandbox is a decorative sign using textured sand on the bottom half of the sign. This sign was made for Peggy’s personal beach garage/studio space, which is below her 2nd-floor Old-Salt Studio.

Quonochontaug Sign Series
Signage | A variety of sizes from 7-8 ft long to small Beach fence discarded slats.
All Quonochontaug signs are made from driftwood collected from the beach and are auctioned or raffled each summer at the Seaside Gardener’s annual meeting. The proceeds go to the community funds to keep Quonnie functioning on several levels…maintaining the grounds, tennis courts, beach, ponds, roads, dock, and playground, etc.
